Description

I. Features

  1. Precise packaging
    • The fruit packaging machine is equipped with high-precision sensors and control systems. It can accurately measure parameters such as the size and weight of fruits, and then perform precise packaging according to preset packaging specifications. For example, for apple packaging, it can place apples of similar sizes in the same package to ensure that the quantity and quality of fruits in each package are relatively uniform.
    • Different packaging modes can be set, such as packaging by weight (such as 500 grams per bag) or packaging by quantity (such as 10 oranges per bag) to meet the needs of different customers and markets.
  2. Various packaging forms
    • Supports multiple packaging materials, such as plastic film and paper packaging. For plastic film packaging, it can perform heat sealing to make the packaging well-sealed and effectively prevent fruits from being polluted by the outside world and losing moisture.
    • Can achieve various packaging shapes, such as common three-side sealing, four-side sealing, pillow packaging, etc. Taking three-side sealing as an example, this packaging form is simple and beautiful, suitable for packaging small fruits such as strawberries and blueberries, and can well display the appearance of fruits.
  3. High packaging speed
    • The fruit packaging machine has a relatively high working efficiency. Its packaging speed can usually reach dozens or even hundreds of packages per minute, and the specific speed depends on factors such as the size of fruits and packaging forms. For example, when packaging small fruits such as grapes, due to their small volume, the packaging machine can quickly complete the packaging process, greatly improving packaging efficiency and reducing labor costs.
  4. Protect fruit quality
    • During the packaging process, the actions of the packaging machine are relatively gentle to avoid mechanical damage to fruits. Some advanced packaging machines are also equipped with buffer devices to reduce collisions when transporting and packaging fruits.
    • Some fruit packaging machines can also adjust the gas inside the packaging, such as filling inert gases such as nitrogen to reduce the respiration of fruits and extend the shelf life of fruits.

II. Technical parameters

  1. Packaging size range
    • The packaging machine can meet the packaging needs of fruits of different sizes. The minimum packaging size may be a few centimeters square for packaging small berries; the maximum packaging size can reach several tens of centimeters for packaging large fruits such as watermelons. For example, its packaging length range may be 5 – 50 centimeters, width range is 3 – 30 centimeters, and height range is 2 – 20 centimeters.
  2. Packaging speed adjustment
    • The packaging speed can generally be adjusted within a certain range. Usually, the minimum speed can be set to 10 – 20 packages per minute, and the maximum speed can reach 80 – 120 packages per minute. This can be flexibly adjusted according to actual production needs. For example, use a lower speed when there is a small order volume or packaging complex fruits, and use a high-speed mode when packaging a large number of simple fruits.
  3. Power and voltage
    • The power is generally between 1 – 5 kilowatts, and the voltage requirements may be single-phase 220V or three-phase 380V depending on different models. Appropriate power and voltage configurations ensure that the packaging machine can operate stably and meet the power supply standards of factories or commercial places.
  4. Equipment size and weight
    • The external dimensions of fruit packaging machines vary depending on the model. The size of a small desktop packaging machine may be about 80 centimeters in length, 60 centimeters in width, and 100 centimeters in height, and the weight is 50 – 100 kilograms; the length of a large industrial packaging machine may reach 2 – 3 meters, the width is 1.5 – 2 meters, the height is 1.5 – 2 meters, and the weight is 500 – 1000 kilograms. Its size and weight mainly depend on the function, packaging capacity, and complexity of the internal structure of the packaging machine.

III. Scope of application

  1. Fruit types
    • Almost applicable to the packaging of all common fruits, including but not limited to apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, kiwis, pitayas, etc. For fruits with irregular shapes such as mangoes, effective packaging can also be achieved through appropriate packaging molds or adjusted packaging methods.
  2. Application scenarios
    • In fruit orchards, packaging machines can help fruit growers quickly package the picked fruits for convenient transportation and sales. In fruit processing plants, it can perform batch packaging of a large number of fruits according to standardized packaging requirements, improving the overall image and market competitiveness of products. At the same time, in the backstage of the fresh produce area of supermarkets, fruit packaging machines can also be used to perform secondary packaging of bulk fruits to ensure the freshness and tidiness of fruits.

IV. Structural composition

  1. Conveyor system
    • Includes conveyor belts and power devices. The conveyor belt generally uses food-grade materials to ensure the hygiene of fruits during the conveying process. The power device can provide stable power to make fruits conveyed to the packaging area at an appropriate speed. Some conveyor systems can also automatically adjust the conveying speed according to the size and weight of fruits.
  2. Measurement system
    • Composed of sensors and measurement controllers. Sensors can be various types such as weight sensors and photoelectric sensors. Weight sensors are used to measure the weight of fruits, and photoelectric sensors are used to detect the size, shape, and position of fruits. The measurement controller controls packaging parameters such as packaging weight or quantity according to the information fed back by the sensors.
  3. Packaging execution system
    • Mainly includes the supply device, forming device, and sealing device for packaging materials. The packaging material supply device can stably transport packaging materials such as film rolls. The forming device forms the packaging material into a preset shape, such as making a three-side-sealed or four-side-sealed packaging bag. The sealing device uses heat sealing or cold sealing technology to seal the packaging bag to ensure the integrity of the packaging.
  4. Control system
    • It is the brain of the fruit packaging machine and usually uses a programmable logic controller (PLC). The PLC can be programmed to set various packaging parameters such as packaging speed, packaging size, and packaging weight. It can also monitor and diagnose faults of each system of the packaging machine. When abnormal situations occur, such as running out of packaging materials or conveyor belt blockage, it can issue an alarm in time and take corresponding measures, such as suspending the packaging operation.
